Interests:
I love being outdoors with my family. We enjoy camping, fishing, boating, and riding our side by side all summer long. As much as I love the mountains, my true happy place would be next to the ocean. I recently started taking piano lessons and am enjoying this new challenge very much.
TRAINING:
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with my bachelors in nursing from Weber State University in 2014. After getting my bachelors degree I graduated from Georgetown University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2018 with my Masters in Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
I’ve been working with Dr Hendry since I graduated. I’ve worked in surgical services my entire career starting in 2008 when I was on the opening team for Intermountain Medical Center. I’ve been assisting in surgery since that time and have worked with several specialties including cardiac, general, and orthopedics. I also worked as an Anesthesia Monitoring technician at IMC and McKay Dee Hospital prior to working as a circulating nurse in the operating room and graveyard charge nurse.
INTERESTS:
I also own a medical aesthetics practice and enjoy working there in my spare time. In my free time I enjoy working out, waterskiing, cars, and being with my family.
TRAINING
Kristina Bennett is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in December 2021.
EXPERIENCE
Kristina is specifically trained in foot and ankle orthopedics, and she has a broad range of experience in family practice, women’s health, and pediatrics. Kristina incorporates evidence-based practice, collaborative communication, and patient-centered care into her practice.
INTERESTS
Kristina spends her free time with her husband and four children. She loves to ski, hike, travel, and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Utah.
